A journey to the future
A journey to the future was an idea that emerged from seeing the challenges youth go through when job seeking. This came after helping a few unemployed youth by looking at their CV's and helping them arrange it. This will not only help with CV's, but after an appealing CV we still have a lot for us to get to that job we need. This page together with the blog will take you Step by Step through that journey.
The motive behind the page was to create a blog that will help us all with useful articles. The blog will share insight on some issues we hardly look at when we looking for employment ans when we get our first job.

Getting ready
We all want a CV that open doors for us. A CV should represent us and be our first marketing tool.
Getting ready means collecting all the information we need for us to get started with job hunting. We need to know what industry we want to work in, what kind of job we want to do and the environment we want to be in.
We also have to look at the company structure, if there is growth for you and the manner in which you can grow in that company. In small companies it is not easy to grow since the structure is also small. Big companies there is a lot to consider, from the culture, manner of work, responsibilities and many more. Well in medium and large companies there is room for growth and going up the ladder, hence you have to know which direction you want to grow in your career.
Prepare yourself to learn, especially if you are starting from an internship. What you learn in your early days of your career remain in you and makes you work better. Do not be afraid to ask, get a mentor or a supervisor that takes you all the way until the end of your program.

Again learn as much as you can even if it means diverting from your role, this comes in handy when you have to understand how other roles support your role.
